As we are getting closer to the end of 2011, I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation to those, who have been faithful in serving in various committees.  A big thank you to all of our committee chairpersons.  This year we have tried something new by keeping our meeting time within 55 minutes each; and scheduled all of our meetings on Sundays for the entire year.  By doing this I hope that we can spend less time in meeting rooms, and doing more ministries in both church and community.  Thank you all for your cooperation and patience.

We had a very successful Church/Charge Conference last Tuesday.  It was well attended.  Let me know if you need a booklet, which contains all of the reports presented by pastors and committee chairpersons.  You can also request a copy to be mailed to you, just phone or email our church office.

In the Christmas spirit of giving, please remember those who are in need in our community.  A Giant Christmas Sock will be placed in the church narthex, please bring as many children’s new socks and underwear so we can fill it up for Community Ministry.  There is much need for these items.

New carpet will be installed in Friendship Room this Friday 12/9.  Memorial Fund will finance this project.  Jackie Forde chairs the Memorial Committee.
