A Memorial Service for Marjorie Couch has been scheduled at 3 PM this Friday, September 3 in our church sanctuary.
The church office will be closed on Labor Day Monday, September 6.
Our Office Manager Peggy Kelly-Juarez will take a vacation break, September 7-10. Betty Dugan will fill in at the church office, 9 am to 2 pm.
Pastor Linda and Pastor Tan will attend the Metro District Clergy Gathering on Thursday, September 9 at Wheatridge UMC. Pastor Tan will be on a panel discussion, speaking about “Signs of Vitality” of Brentwood Church.
Our Hispanic/Latino members will hold their weekly Wednesday Bible Study at 7 PM, starting today, Wednesday 1; and bi-weekly Saturday Morning Prayer at 7:30 AM, starting Saturday, September 11.
The Youth & Young Adult Group will resume their bi-weekly Saturday evening meetings. They will have a planning meeting at the Bear Valley Park at 6 PM on Saturday, September 11.
Our Sunday School classes will resume on Sunday, September 12.
A Baptism/New Membership Class for Vietnamese adults will start at 9:45 AM on Sunday, September 12. Pastor Tan will teach this class.
A Confirmation/Baptism Class for our children, aged 10 to 15, will start at 11:45 AM on Sunday, September 12. Pastor Linda will teach this class.
Our District Superintendent, The Rev. Dr. Youngsook Kang, has announced that our Cluster Charge Conference this year will be at 9:30 AM on Saturday, November 20 at Phillips UMC. Committee chairpersons should prepare to work on your committee annual reports.
Every Sunday we worship in English at 9:45 AM, in Vietnamese at 11:15 AM and in Spanish at 5 PM. We will be glad to worship with you this Sunday!
