The Bible Reading Chart for 2012 is available for pickup. They are placed on the usher’s table in the sanctuary. We have read the New Testament and Proverbs last year. This year we will read the first 10 books of the Old Testament, from Genesis to 2 Samuel, from February 1 to November 17.  Let’s feed our souls regularly with the Living Word of God.

From Youth Pastor Maddie: The youth of Brentwood United Methodist Church would like to formally invite all attendees and members of BUMC to a Valentine’s Shindig on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 2:30-5pm in the Fellowship Hall.  This is the youth’s first fundraiser, which is based upon donations of whatever amount people are willing to give.  The money raised will go towards the Middle School Youth attending Youth Quest in April and the High School/ College Student Youth going on their mission trip to Camp Barnabas in Missouri in July.  There will be finger food and desserts at the event, as well as board games, a cake walk, prizes, and even a place of having a picture taken with a person you love.  Please come out and support the youth in their efforts to further their faith as well as serve the world.

The upcoming Youth Schedule:
Saturday, 2/4 from 4:30-6pm High School/ College Student meeting at BUMC
Saturday, 2/11 from 2:30-5pm Valentine’s Shindig
Saturday, 2/18 from 4:30-6:30pm High School College Student fun outing (location TBD)
