Good day!

Our youth group has been camping at the Cherry Creek State Park in Aurora, August 20-22.  There are about 15 youth and 4 older adults attending.  Pastor Linda and her husband Brian are among the leaders of the camp.  Ron McWilliams is the chairperson of the Education Committee and the head leader of this camp.  They will worship this Sunday at the park.

Last Monday, August 16, 7NEWS, the Denver TV Channel came to Brentwood to present to our own Sue Alberts the 7Everyday Hero 2010 award.  Sue has been clipping coupons for 19 years to raise money for Community Ministry, our church relief outreach to the South West Denver Metro Area low income families.  Mitch Jelniker of 7NEWS gives us the following air dates:
10pm Sun 8-22-10
5am Mon 8-23-10
11am Thurs 8-26-10
4pm Fri 8-27-10
5pm Sat 8-28-10
7am Sun 8-29-10

Our children are getting back to schools for another year.  Please remember them and their educators in your prayers.  We pray for their success and safety.  We must continue our support and encouragement to our students for their advancement in education.

Every Sunday we worship in English at 9:45 AM, in Vietnamese at 11:15 AM and in Spanish at 5 PM.  We will be glad to worship with you this Sunday!
